We have one of these and, to put it mildly, it is a piece of crap. The signal is often weak even if we're only 3 feet from the wireless router. It's so annoying that we've resorted to just using a wired connection most of the time.
Brand New In A Box - Works - Got here on time - No Issue - Works with Linux. The only reason I got it but realize that I think it's faster on my laptop to download since I have 2 wireless going on at once.
The only problem was when using the Wireless Network Monitor the card would connect to the site but would not connect to the internet. I originally ordered a WPC54G card from AONSale through Amazon. I uninstalled the card, unplugged it from the computer then plugged it back in and used Windows to install the card, that way the Wireless Network Monitor is not installed on the computer. They sent me a WPC55AG Dual-Band Wireless A+G card. The card works fine, but if you use the installation disk that comes with it, it installs a Wireless Network Monitor with icon that you can use to connect to a wireless site. I use Linksys EasyLink Advisor that was installed on the computer when I installed my WRT54G2 router to connect to wireless sites. Bottom line, its a good wireless card so far with good download speeds.
Received adapter within 3 days of ordering. Setup was painless but I changed to Microsoft Network Connection instead of Linksys. Works great, no complaints.
This transaction was very satisfactory. I think this was the cheapest I could get this adapter anywhere, and I had searched a few places, in stores and online.
